Launch of the Annual 'Creative Fields'

We are heading towards Spring (my favourite time of the year) and there is a lot happening around the area. 

Least of all 'Creative Fields'. 

This is going to be an annual event, organised by Marion (my boss and my friend)  from The Quilters Angel in Highfields.

This is one of many events that Marion organises and certainly one not to miss!

Creative Fields will showcase creative talent from around the Highfields area by way of a Merchant Mall as well as a Quilt display. 

Let all your friends and family know about it and maybe, if you don't live locally, it would be worth the trip up the hill!

It is to be held on the 17^th and 18^th September 2011 (First weekend of Carnival of Flowers).  It is an  Exhibition of textile arts, including quilts, embroidery, fibre art, pottery plus much more.

The exhibition and Merchant Mall  will be held at:

Highfields State School SmART Space Hall, located next to ‘The Village Green’, home of
The Quilters Angel.

 Parking
Bus parking is available in front of the school along the Highway,
with more parking available in
Borghart Road

I hope you can make it and if you do, drop in to the 'wingsandwhispers' stall and say HI to my mum.  She has so kindly offered to man my stall while I work in the shop.
