Hope this inspires someone!

  I have to say that I am addicted to Kraft Card-stock.  It is so versatile.  So many colours can be used with it and it always looks fantastic.

I was having trouble sleeping last night so I got up and ended up making eight cards.  All similar to the couple you can see here.  Just with different quotes and colours.  I guess you can say my style is "less is more" and I really don't think you can go too far wrong heading down that track.  If I am ever working on a project and I look at it and think that it needs something else, I always put it to the side and come back to it at a later date.  Even if I just walk away for 15 minutes and come back and have another look at it.  Generally, if I come back and I still think that the project needs something, I will then, and only then, add 'something'.

Same thing happened last night.  I made the cards without the rub-ons on them and felt they looked a bit too plain so I went away, came back after a cuppa, added the rub-ons and, wella!!  I know the design is extremely simple but I love that the inspirational quote is the focus on the cards.  These cards can now be used for anything ie., Birthday, Get Well, Thinking of You, Just Because etc., etc.

This photo is of Katey after her stitching class at The Quilter's Angel.  She is wearing one of her gorgeous creations.  I am so proud of her.  Hopefully there will be plenty more opportunities in the future for the two of us to stitch together or scrap together because the boys just don't get it!!!!
