You are probably wondering where I have been? Well thanks to another virus (a Trojan, apparently), I have been without a computer since my last post.
I haven't got anything creative or inspirational to show you but I just wanted to let you know about one of my favourites places to visit..... The Quilter's Angel at Highfield's. Katey did a workshop there today and made some wonderful stitched head bands and bangles. What a wonderful job she did!
On entering The Quilter's Angel, I just seem to forget about everything else that is going on in my life and I automatically become inspired. Marian has put so much work into making her store an little piece of heaven! I could spend hours walking around in there and still not see everything. The textures and the smells are just so................. inspiring! It's true! My head has not stopped spinning since I came home with all these wonderful ideas on how to incorporate fabric and stitching into my scrapbooking and card making and vise versa. If you get the chance, take a trip out one day and you will know automatically, on entering, exactly what I am talking about. Also check out their website, www.quiltersangel.com.au.
The fabric on the owl canvas is from the Quilter's Angel and so is the majority of fabric in my sewing room. Sssshhhhhhhhh......... don't tell my hubby!!!
I will hopefully have something creative and inspiring to show you in the next couple of days.
