Back to reality!

  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and an even better New Year Eve. 

We are now back from our lovely, relaxing holiday on the South Coast and I must admit, it is a little bit hard to get back into any sort of routine.  Des is back to work tomorrow, much to his disgust, but that is the way it goes, I guess.

It's funny you know.  Every other holiday that we have ever been on (albeit quite a few years ago), I have always lugged along a small amount of scrapping product ( only a small amount, do you believe me?), and this time I thought, "No, I'll just take my basic tool kit and maybe do a class at another shop.  I won't feel like doing anything while I am away, I'm sure".  HA!  I think it was 10am on the second morning we were there and inspiration hit.  I had no paper or embellishments, or anything for that matter, other than tools, so, damn it!, I had to go and buy some product.  Sad isn't it?  Hence, the recipe tin that I did for my sister in law.  It was supposed to be part of her Christmas present but the few nights that I had a chance to complete it, a glass of wine kept ending up in my hand.  Needless to say,I was a little too relaxed to finish it.  Deb doesn't know she was supposed to be getting it so I will just post it down to Sydney now it is complete.

We all needed the break away and now my youngest, Matt, is at Coolum for another two weeks with my brother.  He's got a better social life than I do!  My nephew, Jack, is only two weeks older than Matt and they get on like a house on fire.  This seems to be a regular occurrence now, every year, Matt goes and spends a couple of weeks with them while they are on holidays.

I am going to sign off now and hang out some clothes (see, back to reality!) but am planning on trying to be creative tonight.  I will hopefully have something more to show you in the next couple of days.
