.............till we go away on holidays! Yippee!!!! Thought I had better blog before I go away as it will more than likely be my last for a couple of weeks. Unless my brother has his laptop with him while he is away, that is. If he does, well then I can update you all about my wonderful beach holiday. Warm weather, glass of wine in hand, sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach, while tapping away on the laptop. Aaaaahhhhhhhh! Sorry................ thought I was already there for a minute.
Well I have been super organised and got all the shop Christmas cards made and posted as well as all my personal Christmas cards made and.......................not posted. I have lost my address book in the move and have just about torn the storage shed apart and all the boxes I have stored here at home and cannot find it. Oh well! No need stressing over it. They will just have to be New Year cards. This is me making them all. Boy, I get in a mess when I am scrapbooking. It never ceases to amaze me just how much 'stuff' I have to have around me. Did anyone notice in the photo that there is a little machine to my right? I bought myself a Cricut machine. Vowed and declared that I was never going to buy one but when a lovely friend of mine decided she was upgrading hers as her Christmas present, I couldn't refuse to buy her 'old' one at the amazing price she was selling it for. I have been having so much fun playing with it. Thanks Cheryl!
I couldn't help posting this photo of my youngest child, Matt. He is so going to kill me when he finds out. Notice the sunburn line along his forehead (the scalloped, sunburn line!). Poor kid. I picked him up from school the other day and he had his head hanging low and looked so sad. When I asked him what was wrong and he looked up at me, Josh (my 14 year old) and I just couldn't stop laughing. We laughed so much we cried. Unfortunately, the school forgot the sunscreen that day, hence, the sunburn. It really is taking scrapbooking too far when you look at your childs sunburn and notice the pretty scalloped edge before asking, "Why didn't the school give you sunscreen? Are you ok darlin'?". I guess you know you are a true scrapbooker when....................................
Till next time, happy scrapping.
Sue
