Honestly! Where does the time go?
It has been a ridiculous amount of time since I have last posted so I am going to get back on the proverbial horse and blog religiously. I know, I know, I have said that before but I am once again in that 'creative space' and am focusing on ME for a while.
That all sounds very selfish but we have had our lives turned upside down since January this year with lots of personal/family changes and a lot of reflection needed.
I have been doing heaps of sewing over the past month or so and have been really enjoying my relationship with my machine again. We haven't talked in such a long time!
One of my projects that I have been working on are some SLR Camera Straps. Funny really, considering I don't actually have a SLR Camera myself! I am working my way up to it.
These straps are a great idea to individualise your look. Get rid of that boring black strap that comes with your camera!
Each strap measures approximately 42" in length and can be lengthened by using the nylon straps that attach to your camera. These straps are padded for comfort around your neck and interfaced to keep their shape. The width measures approximately 4cm. The camera ends are glued and sewn for extra strength and security.
These can be hand washed and lay flat in the shade to dry. Iron onlythe fabric component of the strap as the nylon and faux leather ends will melt from extreme heat.
I am happy to do custom orders. Also, if you don't have an SLR camera but would like a Strap for your digital camera, I can make one to suit.
