Simplify! That's my word for 2011..

Did anyone see the movie, 'Eat,Pray,Love'?  I did and it made me reflect on a lot of things in my life, good and bad, and I have made a decision to live by a 'word' every year.

For 2011, my word is SIMPLIFY!

I have had a horrid 2010 for many reasons and none of which I will bore you with here as 2011 is going to be absolutely amazing for me (how's that for positive thinking!).

The first step I am taking to 'simplify' my life............I am buying a hamper for each of the kids rooms. Once I have washed and dried all their clothes, their clothes will be going into the hamper for them to fold and put away!  I am so tired of washing, folding, and putting clothes in a pile for them to put away, only to come back hours later to find them everywhere. There....................Simple!

Now that I have had my little rant, I feel much better. Thanks.

I had minimal posts in 2010 but I did still manage to do lots of creating (ME time, gotta love that) so I will be gradually showing some of these creations over time.

Something else that I have joined up is this......http://balzerdesigns.typepad.com/balzer_designs/2010/12/art-journal-every-day.html.  Fantastic idea and a great way to learn from some very talented artisans/scrapbookers.  It is well work checking out the link and, go on, sign up for it.  I look forward to seeing some great pages!

I completed a couple of pages the other day when I didn't have to go into work so will share one of them with you now.

Great to be back on the horse, as they say and here's to a great 2011!

Till next time. Happy scrappin,

Sue

so many members in a family and so many screaming for a part of me! even, if its a silent scream, never the less u know its there, and it can really do ur head in at times. i went and seen that movie too! and loved it! if i had a word to share atm i think it would be more of a prayer, "the Serenity Prayer" u know like changing what u can and leaving what u cant, n the wisdom to know the difference!
