Today is the official World Cardmaking Day for 2009!

Wow!  Check this out! Two posts in one day after 5 months of NOTHING!

The first Saturday of October is the official World Card making Day so that makes today, IT, for 2009.  I have just been inspired by some wonderful creations by the immensely talented ladies at Budget Scrapbooking.  Head over to their blog and check them out.  They can be found at http://budgetscrapbooking.typepad.com.  Well worth a look!

I have spent the afternoon with a friend enjoying coffee (cappuccino, no less.  And the proper sort!), chatter, laughter and lots of inspiration.  Bron, you are absolutely amazing!  She keeps exposing these unknown talents (I didn't know about them anyway) and she is so humble about it.  She has made these exquisite 'funky' dolls that are absolutely amazing.  If she will let me take some photos of them, I will post them on my blog shortly.  I am sure you will love them, so keep posted.
