Inspiration....... What's That??

Well I did say yesterday, that I was going to try and be creative last night.  Well, I was.  But only one card creative!

I sat at my table thinking, "I feel like making something, why don't I try and use up some of the scraps from the Recipe tin?".  So that is what I did.  I wanted to do a page but didn't have any photos that suited the colours so, I came up with this card.  I am not going to tell you how long it took me to do though.  Inspiration...........What's that??

I am quite happy with the end result and still have quite a bit of 'leftovers' to either do more cards or a page if I can find the right photo.

What I am going to try and do this year is, for every page that I make, I am going to make a card or two.  Don't know why I haven't done this before because you have everything there and you know that it all co-ordinates, so while the mojo is a-happening, that's what I am going to do.  Why don't you give it a try and let me know how you are going with it. 

Feeling really lazy today and have decided that the housework is still going to be there tomorrow so am going to do a bit more scrapping. Yippee!!!

I will leave you with a bit of a laugh, at my expense I must add.  The kids got a Wii for Christmas and Josh asked me to have a go at the guitar hero last night.  Easy!!!! Well, so I thought!  He set it up for me and as I put the guitar strap over my head, I whacked the guitar on the bridge of my nose and nearly knocked myself out (OK, just a little bit dramatic, but it hurt!) I now have a lovely lump on my nose and just to make it worse, when I finally did play the easiest song, on the lowest level, I FAILED!  Josh and Des thought it was hysterical so I guess I entertained someone.
