I have finally worked it out! I can now add photos to my blog.
This gorgeous, rather plump owl, was made by myself and my offsider, Karen, for a very dear friend of ours. It was her birthday on Monday just gone. Happy Birthday Shana! She absolutely loves owls and her home decor is in Red, Black and White.
He was made using 6", 4" and 2" paper flowers from Finishing Touch Ideas. You can view these on their website www.finishingtouchideas.com.au. The 6" flowers will be available in the majority of colours, on my ebay site, kindred kollections, in the near future. They are really sturdy flowers and fantastic to work with.
Karen and I cut each flower petal away individually and glued them one by one to create the shape. It took a total of 8 hours to complete but I am really happy with the finished product. It was worth every minute spent on it. I hope you love him just as much as we do!
I had better go and feed the natives as they are getting hungry.
Till next time, Happy Scrapping.
